Blocks-Labs is committed to safeguarding your data. This policy outlines the practices we follow to keep your information secure.

1. Introduction

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.

Blocks-Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a platform for event booking, membership management, and access control. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the information of our users and their attendees.

By using Blocks-Labs, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information from organizers, attendees, and visitors to provide and improve our service.

• Organizer data: account details, organization name, email address, and billing information.

• Attendee data: name, contact details, event registrations, and check-in records.

• Technical data: cookies, usage analytics, browser type, and device information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to operate, secure, and improve the Blocks-Labs platform.

Information is used to manage events, process registrations, handle memberships, and enable payments.

We may also use data to provide customer support, ensure security, and enhance user experience.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

4. Data Ownership

You remain the owner of your data, whether you are an organizer or an attendee.

Organizers retain ownership of their organizational and event-related data.

Attendees own their personal information and can request updates or deletion by contacting the event organizer.

Blocks-Labs acts solely as a data processor, storing and processing information securely on behalf of organizers.

5. Data Storage and Security

We take data security seriously and store all information securely on trusted infrastructure.

Data is hosted using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption in transit and at rest.

Access to data is limited to authorized personnel and managed under strict access controls.

During the pre-release phase, data may be reset or deleted as part of platform maintenance. Please back up any critical data.

6. Payments

Payments are processed securely through Stripe.

We use Stripe to process payments for tickets, memberships, and subscriptions.

Blocks-Labs does not store sensitive payment information such as credit card numbers.

Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to any payment-related data processing.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies only where necessary to ensure a smooth and secure experience.

Cookies may be used for session management, authentication, and anonymous analytics.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may limit certain functionalities of the platform.

8. Third-Party Services

Some features rely on trusted third-party services that process data securely and independently.

We may use external services such as Stripe for payments and analytics tools to understand platform usage.

These providers handle data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

9. Your Rights

You have full control over your personal information and can request access, correction, or deletion.

Users can request to access, modify, or delete their personal data at any time.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under data protection laws such as GDPR, including data portability and objection to processing.

10. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16 without consent.

Blocks-Labs is not directed to users under the age of 16.

Organizers using the platform for minors must obtain appropriate consent from parents or guardians.

11. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary to provide our service or comply with legal requirements.

Data is stored for the duration of your account’s activity or as required by law.

During the development phase, we may occasionally purge inactive or test data as part of system updates.
